A general patient (58 years old, residing in Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province) has a history of cirrhosis, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes. The patient has been drinking alcohol for over 20 years, consuming about 500ml per day.

On the 4th day of the Lunar New Year, the patient was admitted to the emergency room after vomiting about 50ml of fresh blood mixed with clots and black stools.
