Vorarlberg gives up plans for large quarters for asylum seekers – Austria

Bregenz – The state of Vorarlberg has given up plans to rent a commercial building in Schwarzach to house 150 refugees. As the Vorarlberg daily newspapers and ORF Radio Vorarlberg reported unanimously on Wednesday, the property owner insists on usage restrictions, according to which living in the hall is excluded. The responsible state councilor Christian Gantner (ÖVP) then declared the end of the project.
