A storm warning was announced in the Voronezh region due to severe frosts. The regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations shared information.
On Monday, January 8, and Tuesday, January 9, abnormal cold is expected in the region. The thermometer will show -17°— -22°.
Local residents were asked to handle heaters carefully and were also warned about the risk of frostbite. Drivers planning long trips need to stock up on fuel and consider possible escape routes.
A heavy snow warning also remains in effect for the area.
