Vienna (OTS) – “While the SPÖ and neos act next week as if they were concerned about inflation at their meeting, the pool tariffs will be quietly and secretly increased, thereby making the lives of Viennese more expensive again. “That’s definitely not a good style,” said spa spokeswoman for the Vienna People’s Party Julia Klika. The day ticket alone is to be increased by 8.6 percent to 7.60 euros, compared to 2022 (6.20 euros), which is an increase of 22.6 percent.

“But the tariffs for children and young people as well as for the family card will also be increased,” criticizes local councilor Klika. For example, the family ticket for an adult and a child will now cost 9 euros, which also represents an increase of 8.4 percent. “Especially in times of massive inflation, this is a further burden for many families,” explains Klika. “The Vienna city government should not only produce hot air at its meeting next week, but also reverse the secret fee increases in the city,” concluded Klika.
