VSV gets their first win of the season with 8:5 over Vorarlberg

The VSV celebrated its first win in the third game of the season in the ICE ice hockey league. On Thursday, the Villachers won a successful exchange of blows with the Pioneers Vorarlberg 8:5 (1:2,4:3,3:0). The league newcomer from Feldkirch was in the lead three times before VSV won the game with four goals from Robert Sabolic (39′, 52’/PP), Blaz Tomazevic (45′) and Alexander Rauchenwald (50′).

Layne Viveiros made a comeback for the Pioneers. The former team defender had to sit out a whole season due to a serious knee injury.
