The green jersey won ahead of the French sprinter from Cofidis Bryan Coquard, 2nd, and the German from the UAE team Pascal Ackermann, 3rd.

Three times second and unfortunate on the line during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th stages, the 2019 road world champion finally grabs a stage victory on this 2022 Spanish loop.

The general classification remains unchanged: Remco Evenepoel (Quick-Step) remains the leader with 2 minutes and 41 seconds ahead of his first pursuer, the three-time Slovenian title holder Primoz Roglic.
