Wagner boss “obsessed” with Bachmoet for salt and gypsum mines

The “obsession” of the owner of the Wagner private army with the Ukrainian city of Bachmut, according to the United States, has everything to do with salt and gypsum mines near that place. Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin, also a staunch ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, is said to be interested in taking over the mines for “financial reasons”.
