The crew released the song “Rack” from the movie Malekotte Valiban directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and starring Mohanlal in the lead role. The lyrics of the song sung by Mohanlal are written by the film’s screenwriter P. S. It is Rafiq. The film’s music is composed by Prashant Pillai. The film will hit theaters worldwide on January 25 next year. The film is produced by Shibu Baby John under the banner of John Mary Creative, Kochumon under the banner of Century Films and Anoop of Max Lab.
The script writer and lyricist P. S. Rafiq says. P said that the biggest feature of this song is that it comes out in the voice of Lullaby and although I like all the songs in Valiban equally, some songs feel special because of the time they were born and the difficulty of writing them, thus Rak is a song. S. Rafiq said.
Director Lijo Jose Pellissery had previously said regarding the film that ‘Malaikottai Valiban’ is a character that I want to see in a lullaby just like how I want to see Mammooka on screen. ‘Malaikottai Valiban’ is also the first project of Eudley Films with Mohanlal.
