NEW YORK (Archyde.com) – Wall Street’s main indexes opened lower on Friday, as stronger-than-expected jobs data exacerbated investor concerns about a US Federal Reserve interest rate hike to calm rising prices. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 224.09 points, or 0.68 percent, to 3,2773.88 points. The Standard & Poor’s 500 index opened, down 18.70 points, or 0.45 percent, to 4,128.17 points, and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 70.86 points, or 0.58 percent, to 12,246.83 points.
