The Dow Jones Industrial Average began the trading session on Wall Street, up 84.14 points, or 0.23 percent, to 36,336.16 points.
The benchmark Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 15.52 points, or 0.33 percent, to 4728.59 points, while the Nasdaq Composite Index jumped 109.65 points, or 0.72 percent, to 15,263.10 points.
