Re-releases are common today. These range from digitally remastered versions of cult movies that have gone on film to special shows hosted by star fans. Now a rare re-release from Hindi has been announced. Not one, but ten popular films are regarding to hit the theaters once more as part of it.
This re-release marks the completion of 45 years of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s acclaimed film career as a director, screenwriter and producer. Ten films with his participation will hit the theaters once more as part of this. Film Heritage Foundation and PVR Inox jointly organize re-screening of past films.
Khamosh Written, Directed & Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, 1942 A Love Story, Parinda, Mission Kashmir, Ekalavya The Royal Guard, Written & Directed by Sasaye Mauth, Written & Produced by Munna Bhai MBBS, Written, Produced & Edited (Supervising Editor) by Parineeta, Written & Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra Chanam (Screenplay Lage Raho Munnabhai produced and written by (Associate) and 3 Idiots produced and written by (Screenplay Associate) are slated for rerun. These films will be seen in theaters for a week from October 13 to 19.
