Wanted for stealing $140 underwear

A 60-year-old man is actively wanted by the Sherbrooke Police Department (SPS) for shoplifting an undergarment.

The facts date back to the followingnoon of January 14 when the sexagenarian robbed the Simons house on Portland Boulevard.

That day, the suspect had taken a box of men’s thermal underwear for $140 and put the item under his coat, before depositing the empty packaging in another aisle.

The man then left the store without paying as if nothing had happened, says the Sherbrooke police department, which is asking for the public’s help to find the suspect.

The suspect has gray hair and was wearing a light gray coat, dark shirt and black pants and square glasses, police said.
