Wanting to work together with America for world peace: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif while replying to US President Joe Biden’s letter has said that Pakistan-US relations are of key importance. Pakistan wants to work with America for world peace, development and prosperity of the region. He wrote that cooperation between the two countries in the Energy and Green Alliance initiative is welcome.

Shahbaz Sharif has said in the letter that Pakistan attaches key importance to relations with the US and both countries are working together in energy, climate change and agriculture among other fields.

In the letter, the Prime Minister said that he wants to work together with America for global peace and security and also wants to work together to achieve the common goal of development and prosperity of the region.

It should be noted that a letter was written by US President Joe Biden to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the past days and this was the first letter of the US President after assuming the office of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

This is the first diplomatic letter of any American president to the Pakistani Prime Minister after a long time and this congratulatory letter is an indication of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and the United States.

The Cipher case and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) allegations had caused a chill in the relations between the two countries.
