Traffic paralyzed by a pandemic, war at the gates of Europe, all against the backdrop of an injunction – still out of reach – to neutralize CO emissions₂ planes. Swiss International Air Lines could hardly have imagined worse weather to celebrate its 20^e anniversary, or rather that of its rebirth on the ruins of Swissair.

Optimists will say it could have gone even worse. After all, two years ago, before the granting by its banks of a lifeline opening up to 1.5 billion francs in credit – released thanks to the assurance that the Confederation would stand surety – no one could promise that history wouldn’t repeat itself, twenty years apart.
