Tania, Luba, Valeria… first moments in the Jura
The small Jura town of Alle saw the arrival of 65 Ukrainian men and women fleeing the war. They testify to the adventure lived between the bombs and Switzerland.
They escaped the bombs, left everything behind to cross Europe. Switzerland now welcomes them with open arms. A tremendous outpouring of solidarity accompanies the arrival of the first Ukrainian refugees. The small Jura locality of Alle, 1900 inhabitants, is the strongest example. Since Sunday, two groups, or 65 people, have found refuge there. A bus carrying 42 people in Poland arrived on Wednesday. These were housed in the village hall of the town before being distributed among families in the region.
