September 2023 hardly feels like fall. In many places in Austria the temperatures still regularly reach 28 degrees Celsius, so sitting together outdoors in the evening is no problem – even if you notice that it is getting dark earlier and earlier. This impression is now supported meteorologically: Geosphere Austria (formerly ZAMG) reports that September is the warmest since regular measurements began in 1767.
