While several thousand pleasure boats sail off our coasts each year, the treatment equipment for their “grey” and “black” water in the marinas of Martinique is insufficient. Result: according to the Water Office, “80% of boaters” might discharge their dirty water into the sea, completely illegally. A state of affairs that the authorities are now seeking to correct in order to preserve our seabed, threatened by climate change.
