A video clip of a Saudi saxophone player sparked social media following he performed a piece of music at an evening at the Culture and Arts Association in Jeddah.
Activists expressed their admiration for the performance of the artist, Saad Al-Harthy, while he was playing the saxophone, in a way that astonished the audience.
During the circulating video, he played a piece from Melhem Barakat’s song “Ala Babi Waqif Qamreen”, which he played with distinction and professionalism.
He explained in an interview with Al-Arabiya.net that he is the head of the music department at the Culture and Arts Association in Jeddah, and that he presented this paragraph of the performance, which won the approval of many.

He said that he made many participations with the association and with others, in addition to his participation with members of the National Band and the Madawi Band, and with many artists, including Abadi Al-Johar and Muhammad Abdo.
