Over the past hours, communication sites in Sudan have been busy with a chilling video showing the fall of an electric elevator on a patient on his way to undergo an open-heart surgery in a government hospital in Khartoum North.
The aforementioned clip sparked strong reactions, and erupted a wave of grief and outrage, following it was widely circulated on social media in Sudan, and they said that it was a stark expression of the terrible deterioration that the country’s health institutions had reached.
The short clip garnered a very high following, and showed a person speaking in an angry tone as he pointed to a person lying on a stretcher, saying that this person was a patient who was on his way to have open-heart surgery, but that the elevator collapsed on him. All attempts to silence the angry voice failed.
