Al-Marsad newspaper: Social media users circulated a video clip of Egyptian “newlyweds” dancing to the tunes of the song “Makhasamak” at their engagement party.

The video showed a dance between the groom and the bride to the tunes of the song “Makhasamak” by artist Nawal Abdel Shafi, amid encouragement from the bride and groom’s female friends.

The bride chanted words from the song while dancing with movements in harmony with these words, including: “Your opponents, stay away from me. I can’t stand you. I will build. I don’t want to stay with you. Don’t worry regarding me once more. Your opponents are seriously crazy. I don’t understand you. I don’t want my eyes to see you or hear your voice in my heart.”

She added: “Your eyes are going following any girl, and I am not sure. I am sure of this and complain if you come to be naughty and people say that you are weak, you forbidden.”
