Watch it with the naked eye.. Mars glows in the sky of the Arab world (photo)

In an event that is repeated every two years, the planet Mars has become, during the current moments, adorning the sky of the Arab world as a glowing flame.

The distance between the Red Planet and Earth is 81 million km, which is the closest distance Mars can reach.

And the Astronomical Society in Jeddah revealed, through its Twitter account, that this phenomenon is repeated every two years in which the distance of Mars’ approach to Earth differs, according to the change in the orbits of the elliptical planets around the sun.

The association confirmed that the luminosity of the red planet exceeds the star of Al-Shairi, so that it can be seen through a medium telescope, and the features of its terrain become clear from it, knowing that it can be viewed with the naked eye.

The first moon of Mars

This phenomenon comes, days following the Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center of the China National Space Administration issued a high-resolution image of the first moon of Mars, Phobos.

The image was taken from the orbital device of the “Tian Wen-1” probe. This was an expansion mission undertaken by the “Tian Wen-1” probe following completing the specific scientific exploration mission.

The picture was taken by a high-resolution camera installed on the orbital device of the “Tianwen-1” probe.

At the time of imaging, the orbital device was regarding 5,000 kilometers from Phobos, one of the two moons of Mars.

It is reported that in order to successfully capture the image, the exact rendezvous time must be calculated correctly, the camera’s shooting direction must be adjusted, and the position of the orbital device must be controlled.

For a long time, Phobos has been a research object of interest to scientists. By knowing this moon, a huge amount of information will be obtained regarding the early history of the solar system. The success of this mission also laid the technical foundations for the “Tian Wen-1” probe to carry out other expansion missions in the future.
