Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip of a thunderbolt was documented, which struck the clock tower on Thursday evening, during rain in the city of Mecca.
The thunderbolt turned the sky of Mecca into daytime, while Mecca and a number of the region’s governorates witnessed heavy rain on Thursday.
The National Center of Meteorology warned, through the early warning system, of the expected weather during the coming hours in Madinah, Asir, Hail, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Najran, Makkah, Riyadh and the northern borders, where thunderstorms and active winds are witnessed with low horizontal visibility.
