Al-Marsad Newspaper: The official account of the Saudi national team, via the social networking site “Twitter”, published a video clip of what happened in the team’s room between the two halves of the Argentina match in the 2022 World Cup.
In the clip, the coach of the national team, Hervé Renard, appeared, criticizing the performance of the players in the first half, especially in putting pressure on Messi, and said: “You open your phones and imagine with him.”
The coach added: “With football, we are good. Did you see what they did? You did not feel the right time to press and win. You did not have a feeling that we could go back and equalize. We are playing comfortably. Please guys, this is a World Cup.”
The Saudi national team scored a historic victory in its opening match in the World Cup against Argentina, with two goals to one, and topped its group.
