Doha: With an aim to promote water polo, Qatar Swimming Association has opened a water polo training center for youth and children. Training center operations will commence on Sunday 4th September 2022 at Hamad Aquatic Centre.
The center is housed in the Doha Sports City complex, along with other buildings dedicated to sports in Qatar, including the Qatar Olympics and Sports Museum, the Aspire Tower, the Khalifa International Stadium and the Aspire Academy, a training school.
The Qatar Swimming Association stated on its official Twitter account that the aim is to attract more players. The association said training sessions will be held from September to December to prepare the players to represent Qatar in future overseas tournaments.
