Waymo will launch a robotaxi service in Austin, Texas, USA in the coming months. The first stage will already start in autumn.

According to Waymo, the service will cover large parts of the city, including Downtown, Barton Hills and Hyde Park. You can be put on the waiting list today.
Austin will be the fourth city to deploy Waymo One, following Phoenix, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The company has also conducted a short-term test in New York City, but has not yet announced any plans for commercial service in that region.
While rides were typically only available in limited areas of these cities, Waymo recently doubled the service’s reach to include the wider areas of Phoenix and San Francisco.
