Al-Marsad Newspaper – Agencies: The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Zamalek Club, Mortada Mansour, warned of a disaster coming within days, which could lead to a crisis in the team after the court ruling in favor of Mamdouh Abbas, the former president of the club.
A financial crisis in Zamalek
Mortada Mansour stressed, in televised statements on the Zamalek Club channel, that there must be a solution to the financial crisis that Zamalek is experiencing due to the seizure of his assets from Mamdouh Abbas, his former president.
The president of Zamalek said: “I call on the Minister of Sports to intervene in the crisis of seizure of the club’s bank balances. We are in a calamity. A disaster will happen on September 30.”
He added, “I appeal to the Minister of Sports Ashraf Sobhi and the Minister of Justice in order to save Zamalek, from Mamdouh Abbas and Mahmoud Al-Khatib.”
He asked: “I do not know who is behind Mamdouh Abbas in Egypt. Zamalek has employees and workers, numbering up to 4,000 workers. How will they get arrested?! As well as coaches, technical devices and players.”
Until tomorrow
Mortada Mansour continued: “I will give everyone a deadline until tomorrow, and then I will announce with documents all the information that Mamdouh Abbas obtained his money from Zamalek.”
He continued, “I will go to the President of the Republic and the entire government next time in order to save the club from Mamdouh Abbas and Mahmoud Al-Khatib’s committees.”

Mortada Mansour asked: “Where do I spend the salary of coach Gusvaldo Ferreira at the end of the month? Will he stay or will he leave if he does not get his salary?”
