In an interview with Al-Arabiya / Al-Hadath, the Strategic Communications Coordinator for the US National Security Council, John Kirby, stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a strategic partner of the United States.
He added that the bilateral relations between the two countries date back to more than 80 years.

He also added that his country is keen to preserve that relationship in a way that serves the interests of the American people and their national security.
He pointed out that President Joe Biden’s administration views the necessity of continuing the strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia.
He stressed the need for those relations to follow everything that is consistent with the interest of the two countries and their peoples.
