We have an obligation to build a path to freedom

This Tuesday, May 24, the national coordinator of Vente Venezuela, María Corina Machado, offered a message to the militants of her party, which celebrates its tenth anniversary today.

“We have the obligation to build an alternative road that leads us to the freedom«, Said the opponent. And she added: “We are not sheep of an oppressive regime that wants to stay in power forever. Not even from an opposition that settles for crumbs.”

He stated that Venezuela must move towards a political direction “aligned with the sentiments and interests of the country.” Likewise, that it is determined to convince internal and external actors. “To dislodge the regime from power,” she said, “and thus strengthen our path to freedom.”

Machado said that the organization he leads is going through a year of consolidation and general review of its premises and methods of action. “He is a year to relaunch our political theses and get ready for all the means of struggle that are necessary to develop”, reviewed the official page of Vente Venezuela.

“It is the means that we have given ourselves to recover freedom in Venezuela,” he assured about the organization. Therefore, he indicated, there will always be someone willing to fight “against the tyranny that oppresses Venezuela and destabilizes the continent, is still alive and active.”

And he added: “Even more so when we are millions who, despite so many difficulties, have not given up, nor will we, because we are accompanied by the legitimate right to defend ourselves from those who oppress us and to conquer the freedom of our republic.”

He also highlighted the need to elect a new political leadership, a proposal he made in November last year. He said that this requires “a courageous, disciplined opposition that does what it has to do.”

The decision belongs to the Venezuelans

However, he stressed that to achieve a change in the country, citizens must make the decision. “Zero CNE, zero Republic Plan, zero illegitimate TSJ, zero machines. And the last thing is that a quarter of the country is watered in the world, that Venezuelans can vote, “he said.

He described the change in the leadership of the G4 as “the game of chairs”. And he added: “The regime cannot choose who is its interlocutor and with whom they compete in each election.”

He stressed that “two years in Venezuela is to face another country, as they suggest waiting for 2024″.
