Diosdado Cabello, first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, spoke regarding the intentions of the United States government to acquire Venezuelan oil. This is due to the cessation of purchases from Russia due to the invasion of Ukraine.

In a press conference, the Chavista official said that this is a possibility that can materialize.

“Venezuela has the oil that many need, including the United States… but they have to pay for it, they must pay for it,” said Cabello.
