The representative of the Cyan Bank, Lorena Fuentes, highlighted the “Effort and Glory” program promoted by the ad honorem president of INDES, Yamil Bukele. “It is an ambitious initiative that will mark a before and after in national sports,” said the legislator during the launch of the program.
The parliamentarian reaffirmed her commitment to sport, which she assumed when she arrived at the New Assembly. She reiterated that the Cyan Bench will continue working to improve the situation of each of the national athletes.
«As a former athlete I feel very excited to see how the sport is changing. Thanks to the vision of President Nayib Bukele and the direction of the president of INDES, Yamil Bukele, sport now focuses on those who truly matter: our athletes, which is why as a new Assembly we will continue to support them,” she expressed.
For his part, Yamil Bukele reaffirmed his commitment to continue working hand in hand with the Salvadoran President and the new Legislative Assembly to execute projects in favor of sports.
“We have assumed the responsibility of providing what is necessary to the federations and athletes with the support of President Nayib Bukele and the Legislative Assembly, which has provided us with the funds,” he expressed during the launch.
