We must win local elections in all regions. We must win to end the era of populism and the era of PiS – said on Saturday the mayor of Warsaw, deputy chairman of PO Rafał Trzaskowski, during the convention inaugurating the local government campaign of the Civic Coalition.
He emphasized that if they win the elections, the end of PiS will begin. “Because they will panic even more and the process of even greater disintegration will begin,” he added.
“If we look at Poland over the last eight years, it has developed mainly thanks to local governments. Over the last eight years, local governments have developed despite the fact that they were being destroyed all the time. And that is why, if we want Poland to be open, democratic and based We must win these elections for the most important values that we all fought for,” he stressed.
He emphasized that local elections must be won in all regions. “We must win in most cities, towns and Polish countryside to end the era of populism and the era of PiS,” he said.
“We put people at the very center of all our plans. Warsaw sets trends, thanks to which we can later do the same in other local governments. Together with the government, we can do the same,” said Trzaskowski.
He stated that Warsaw does not forgive anyone who tries to build their political career in Warsaw. This will never work.
