The General Authority of Meteorology revealed the weather forecast during the Eid Al-Adha holiday from Saturday, July 9, until Thursday, July 14.
During this period, it is expected that very hot, humid weather will prevail during the day on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and the south of the country, and the weather will be hot and humid on the northern coasts. As for the weather at night, there will be moderate and humid weather at night in all parts.
It is expected that this period will witness a light water mist in the early morning until 6 am on the roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and the cities of the Canal.
This period is also witnessing wind activity on areas of the northern coasts, Lower Egypt and Greater Cairo. As for the state of maritime navigation: the Mediterranean is light to moderate, and waves rise from 1: 1.5 meters, and the Red Sea: light to moderate, and waves are from 1: 1.75 meters.
Today, Thursday, it is witnessing very hot weather in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and the south of the country, hot on the northern coasts, moderate temperature at night in all parts, and winds are active in some areas, which reduces the sense of high temperatures and humidity.
