With some local rains, tomorrow Tuesday (16.04.2024) will be the weather throughout Greece according to the forecast of the National Meteorological Service.
The weather in the west and gradually in the rest of the country will give clouds temporarily increasing with local rain from midday in the west and possible isolated storms in the evening hours on the southern sea coasts. Chance of local rain in the evening hours in the rest of the mainland, the Cyclades and Crete.
The transport of African dust is favored. Winds will blow from south directions 3 to 5, in the Aegean 5 to 6 and locally in the north up to 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop in terms of its maximum values, mainly in the west, by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius. It will reach 23 to 25 degrees in the west and 26 to 29 degrees Celsius in the rest.
The weather in Attica and Thessaloniki
ATTICA
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with the possibility of local rain in the evening hours.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and from midday southerlies 3 to 5 and easterly and southerly to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 28 degrees Celsius.
THESSALONIKI
Weather: Thin clouds that will gradually thicken. Chance of local rain in the evening hours.
Winds: Variable light and from the afternoon south southeast to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 28 degrees Celsius.
The weather in the rest of Greece
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Thin clouds which will quickly thicken in the west and gradually in the rest of the areas. Chance of local rains or showers mainly in western and central Macedonia in the evening hours.
Winds: From southerly directions 3 to 4 and in the eastern marine coastal sections 5 and gradually to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 28 degrees Celsius.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with local rains from noon. Isolated storms are likely to occur in the evening hours on the southern sea coasts.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and gradually south southeast to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 25 degrees Celsius.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with the possibility of local rain in the evening hours.
Winds: South southwest 3 to 5 and locally in the east up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 28 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Scattered clouds that will quickly thicken from the west and it is possible that local rains will occur in the evening hours.
Winds: From south directions 4 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 25 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
Weather: Thin clouds that will quickly thicken in the north and from the afternoon in the rest of the regions.
Winds: South southeast 4 to 6 and gradually to the north local to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 27 degrees Celsius.
THESSALY
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with a chance of local rain from the afternoon.
Winds: West southwest 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 29 degrees Celsius.
