Weishaupt rides to victory in Florida, show jumping – Newsticker

The 37-year-old from Riesenbeck showed the fastest ride without mistakes in the competition with the highest prizes so far in the multi-week tournament series in East Florida. Behind Weishaupt, the Irishman Conor Swail with Count Me In came in second ahead of the American Brian Moggre with Balou.

The fastest rider in the show-jumping, which was endowed with 406,000 US dollars, was Daniel Deußer with Tobago, but the Hessian, who lives in Belgium, only came fifth because of a knock-down in the jump-off. Three more five-star grand prizes are planned for Wellington by the end of March.
