Al Ain, on August 21 / WAM / His Excellency Zaki Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Supreme President of the United Arab Emirates University, met today a number of new female university students to welcome them and listen to their suggestions, which is reflected in the student’s confidence and belonging to the university, which is a beacon of excellence in Higher education and scientific research.
His Excellency expressed his happiness at meeting male and female students at the beginning of the new academic year, stressing his keenness to make the UAE University an incubating and stimulating environment for them.
He stressed that the university represents for students a platform for knowledge, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and the development of students’ skills in line with the needs of the future labor market.
He added that the university and all those in charge of it and its employees are keen to build a society in which care and safety are available, which contributes to the development of students’ capabilities, helps them make the right choices, and contributes to overcoming all the challenges that they may face during their academic career.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency ate lunch at the female students’ restaurant, in response to the invitation of a group of them, and exchanged conversation with them about a number of university matters, teaching, and the great facilities and means of comfort that the university provides to the sons and daughters of the country studying there, thanks to the directives of our wise leadership that never stingy.
