Renault Clio 5: some mechanical problems
The Renault Clio 5 does not suffer no serious major mechanical problems, which could call into question your choice. Indeed, the faulty segmentation problems of the 1.2 liter TCe petrol unit of Renaultcausing engine failures, are now a thing of the past.
The 1.0 liter (65 to 100 hp) and 1.3 liter (130 hp) petrol engines seem to be born well. For the diesel engineswe will just note a strong appetite for oil, which can occur over the first 10,000 km: a sensitive point to watch, therefore.

Renault Clio 5: electronic problems
As with all contemporary cars, the Renault Clio 5 suffers from some electronic problems, particularly in terms of air conditioner : indeed, it displays a sometimes capricious operation. This is due to a fault in the compressor, or even in the control unit: sensitive elements to be monitored as well.
On the side of on-board multimedia system with touch screen, we will note some small bugs which come to taint the experience of this connected city car: we will identify for example the system which turns off on its own, or the appearance of a black screen during use. Connected services are also subject to certain malfunctions.
