What future for David Jackson with the Kemper Rams?

Back injury since January, David Jackson (1.95 m, 36 years old) has not replayed a single Pro B match since and will still be absent for the reception of Saint-Vallier this Saturday. Repeated injuries since May 2021 have prevented him from bringing his team, the Rams of Quimper (or Kemper, depending on the language). His trainer Laurent Foirest expressed his concern to West France :

“He is training, we are watching how he behaves, but we have been saying it from the start: I think it will be hard for him to come back. Physically, he is starting from very far. nine months that he has not had a correct physical level, since the injury he suffered at the end of last season. He is trying to come back, but there is always something that prevents him from doing so”.

In this period of sporting inactivity, the American rear has recycled himself as a coach. He scouts for UJAP, analyzing the qualities and systems of opponents. Laurent Foirest sees David Jackson converting to a coach: “I think he has that fiber,” says the 2000 Olympic vice-champion.
