O tvOS 17 it certainly didn’t bring as many new features as iOS/iPadOS 17, watchOS 10 and macOS Sonoma 14. However, one of the new functions is aimed especially at the audio of Apple TV and HomePods.
This is the Enhance Dialogue (Enhanced Dialogue)which aims to highlight speech in the audio mix of one or more connected HomePods, making the dialogue of what you are watching even easier to hear and understand.

Compatibility
The dialog enhancement setting will only appear if your second-generation HomePod is updated to tvOS 17 or later and paired with an Apple TV 4K also minimally running tvOS 17. With tvOS 17.1, Apple has expanded the function to the first-generation HomePod and HomePod mini.
Remember that your smart speaker must also be selected as the default audio output.
How to Enable Dialog Enhancement
If you want to activate this audio enhancement only in the video that is currently playing, hover your finger over the Siri Remote touch surface, go to the icon represented by a sound wave and select “Enhance Dialogue”.
To do this by default for all videos, just open Settings, access “Video and Audio” and activate the “Improve Dialogue” option.
