Although scientific evidence does not strongly support taking memory-boosting vitamins such as vitamin B12 and vitamin E, and herbal supplements, here are the best vitamins for memory enhancement and preservation.

_Omega-3 is found in abundance in oily fish, nuts and seeds, and it helps promote health.

_ Antioxidants such as: anthocyanins, caffeic acid, catechin, quercetin and flavonoids, which are available in dark chocolate and berries.

_ Vitamin E is available in whole grains such as: brown rice, barley, and oats.

_ B-complex vitamins, including: vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and folic acid. Recent research indicates that these vitamins may prevent brain shrinkage and delay cognitive decline.

_ Regular eating: Don’t eat too much or too little.

_ Get enough sleep.

_ Keep the body hydrated and drink water regularly.
