Al-Marsad newspaper: Sources said that it is expected to launch the developed B2C system for Umrah, which will cancel the external agent system, as of the 1444 Umrah season, which begins next week.
According to “Al-Watan”, transportation applications will be available within the transportation package across multiple platforms, and the transportation cost will be reduced from last year’s prices for individual B2C pilgrims.
This comes to stimulate the attraction of pilgrims through the system instead of agents abroad, after the quota system was abolished in the transport sector.
The B2C system provides benefits and guarantees for pilgrims, including “it enables the pilgrim to obtain a visa and an approved Umrah program and contributes to improving the services provided by the Umrah sector and provides direct and affordable prices for those wishing to perform Umrah.”
The advantages also include “The pilgrim is given the freedom to choose efficiently and effectively, stay in a 3 to 5 star hotel for 9 days, and reduce the delays in returning the pilgrim to his country. Price manipulation is not allowed in the value of ground services.”
