- Toys are more than a source of fun for your children: they allow them to learn and develop their personality.
- It is always necessary to adapt the toys to the age of the child but also to offer him all kinds so that he can acquire different intellectual aspects.
All parents ask themselves the question of the best toy to stimulate their child, and influence his development. However, it is not a single toy but rather a set of toys that will help develop different intellectual and identity aspects.
Do not limit the child to one type of toy
Play promotes learning, regardless of the type of games. Whether it’s role-playing to develop language, building blocks for spatial skills, or drawing to develop the imagination, all media can be useful.
So that the child chooses, regularly offer him to try different types of toys, without forcing or directing him. If he tends to always go to the same type of game, try introducing other toys or other rules to invite him to work on his imagination and other facets of his development.
Should we offer him educational games?
To think that the child only needs educational toys to learn is wrong, he learns mainly by exploring and playing. All objects can thus become educational, as long as they allow him to exercise his imagination, to move, to think, to sort, to catch or even to tell stories.
The important thing is therefore to give him time to play every day and to let him have fun without forcing him but rather by offering him different tools and supports.
