Chinese telecommunication equipment maker Huawei’s flagship smartphone lineup, the ‘P50’ series, has suddenly disappeared from the global smartphone market, foreign media reported on the 6th (local time).
According to the report, the P50 series, except for the current foldable smartphone P50 Pocket, has been removed from Huawei’s global smartphone portfolio. Searching for the P50 series on the store page is reported to result in ‘No results found’. It is believed that they are still being sold in China.
Huawei has yet to disclose why the P50 series was removed from its global stores. Some are raising the observation that the partnership may have something to do with Leica, a German camera company that has ended its partnership.
