The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 is the successor to its extremely popular first electric scooter M365. Almost 5 years have passed between the release of these two electric scooters. In this Xiaomi Electric Scooter 3 review, we take a closer look at what Xiaomi decided to upgrade and what stayed the same.
Conception
The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 was first announced on July 26, 2021 and went on sale in October. Its selling price is fixed at €449. This scooter comes in two colors: dark gray and onyx black. These are new colors for the Mi electric scooter range and are accented with orange cables on the gray model and blue cables on the black model. These accents are an easy way to differentiate the Scooter 3 from the Scooter Pro 2.
The basic design of the Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 remains practically unchanged from that of the Scooter Pro 2.

La Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 propose three driving modes : pedestrian, standard and sport mode. In pedestrian mode, the scooter automatically adds a little power to facilitate pushing, without having to press the accelerator. The engine of the Mi Electric Scooter 3 is its main differentiator from other models of the brand. of a 300W power, it reaches a maximum speed of 25 km/h and a theoretical maximum range of 30 km. The range is, as you would expect, less than the advertised value. This is not surprising, since it is common for all electric vehicles to lose 25-30% of their range compared to the theoretical value.

Verdict
The Mi Electric Scooter 3 is one of the most attractive models in its range for short urban journeys. It has a good balance between weight and performance. This feature makes it easy to handle and transport, while offering great autonomy. It’s a stylish scooter that’s fun to ride, although it lacks a bit of speed to roll on the road. However, remember that its autonomy is relatively limited and that it is not the most practical to transport.
