A Kuwaiti security source revealed the details of a case described by activists as indicating the nearness of the signs of the hour, after a Kuwaiti in his fifties confined his brother’s wife in the kitchen in an attempt to have sex with her.
The Kuwaiti newspaper, “Al-Anbaa”, quoted the source as saying that a fifty-year-old man of unknown nationality was detained at the Sulaibiya police station, on the grounds that he was accused of outraging the modesty of his brother’s wife, who is only five years younger than him.
The source said: “A woman born in 1970 informed the Sulaibiya police station that she was preparing breakfast food, and when she was surprised by her husband’s brother, who was born in 1965, he came into the kitchen and presented an indecent behavior.”
During the investigations, the victim confirmed that she “yelled at the accused (her husband’s brother) and cursed him, so he left the house ashamed of what he said.”
The source concluded, “As soon as the woman registered a report of the incident, the defendant was contacted and informed to attend immediately, otherwise he would be arrested, to hurry to attend, and he denied what his brother’s wife went to, claiming that there were differences between them.”
