Time and once more in discussions one is met with disbelief when one speaks of the imperialist goals of Russia under Vladimir Putin. Yes, of course, he will probably want to have Ukraine, but that is somehow his right, according to quite a few people I spoke to. But Putin or Russia in general will never reach beyond the borders of the old Soviet Union and seriously threaten Europe.
