The weather for the three days of March 25, its main characteristics will be the “ups and downs” in temperature and wind intensity, according to Sakis Arnautoglou’s forecast.
Both on Sunday and Monday local showers are expected, which will have a very short duration, the meteorologist pointed out.
“In general, the two-day period at least – if not the three-day period – with the exception of some showers during Monday, will bewith plenty of sunshine and very few local clouds“, said Sakis Arnautoglou.
On Saturday, it is expected to be cloudy – dense in places and at times – in Crete until noon, with the possibility of weak local rain mainly in the mountainous and southern parts of the prefectures of Chania, Rethymno and Heraklion. In the rest of the country there will be sunshine until midday, with very few local clouds.
On Sunday there will be thin clouds in the morning, which “will pass from the northwest to the southeast” and “will not have any effects at all”, explained Sakis Arnautoglou.
Late in the afternoon “clouds will gather in several areas of western Greece. In the interior of western Peloponnese, western Sterea, i.e. Aitoloakarnania, Evrytania, perhaps also Phocis, in Epirus, but also in mountainous areas of the prefectures of Trikala and Karditsa. In these sections, there will be some showers, of short duration, during mainly the second half of Sunday, that is, towards the afternoon and later”, he continued.

As for March 25, there will be a “temporary express change of a few hours” in the morning.
Until shortly before noon, “some showers will be maintained where they will occur after noon on Sunday, in Epirus, Western Thessaly, in the most mountainous and semi-mountainous parts of the prefectures of Trikala and Karditsa. Maybe some crumb will manage to pass to the rest of Thessaly and affect the rest of the mountains for a very short time in the morning, in the western Sterea and in the western-central-southern Peloponnese” where there will be “very localized showers of very short duration”.
The same is expected in Macedonia. “Clouds will pass very quickly until midday, giving some local showers in the interior mainly of western and central Macedonia and later in eastern Macedonia and Thrace.”
Also, the winds in places will be quite to very strong, in most areas of the country. By Monday night the weather will have improved and the winds will have weakened.
