“For new passenger cars, only all trim levels of LADA Granta and LADA Niva Legend fit in the amount of up to one million rubles. For the LADA Niva Travel SUV, only the basic equipment costs less than one million, namely 998,900 rubles, all the rest are more expensive. There are no other new cars with a price lower than this value on the market, moreover, many of them are not officially delivered to the country now,” Azat Timerkhanov said.
According to him, the choice of used cars for this amount is much larger. “The range of prices for the same model of a certain age can be very wide. Among three-year-old cars, you can find LADA Vesta Sedan at an average of 874,238 rubles, LADA Vesta SW – at 997,155 rubles. LADA 2190 Granta Sedan at an average price of 619,356 rubles, LADA 4X4 with a price of 729,270 rubles, and Largus VP at 869,084 rubles,” the expert noted.
Brand diversity will be much higher among five-year-old cars. “A used FORD Focus will cost 985,228 rubles. For KIA Rio, on average, you will have to pay 962,291 rubles, for HYUNDAI Solaris – 965,121 rubles. VOLKSWAGEN Polo is a bit cheaper — 863,936 rubles,” added Timerkhanov.
