One of the coolest things about being within the Apple ecosystem is precisely the fact that the company’s devices “talk” to each other. Over the years, these features have expanded to let you get more out of your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV.

One of them allows the incoming phone calls through your iPhone appear on Mac and iPad — so you don’t even have to have your phone in your hand to answer an important call.

In case this feature is not working perfectly, some simple tips can help with the resolution. Check out! ????????‍????

Obviously, the first step is to check if the function is activated. On iPhone, open Settings, go to Phone » Other Devices. Then make sure “Allow Connections” is turned on and the desired devices are selected (such as Mac and/or iPad). Then, on your iPad, go to Settings » FaceTime and turn on “IPhone Calls”; on Mac, open the FaceTime app, go to FaceTime » Settings… in the menu bar, go to the “General” tab and check “iPhone bindings”. Your devices also need to be signed in to the same Apple ID. You can check this by opening Settings on your iPhone/iPad and tapping your name (at the top of the screen); on Mac, open System Settings and click your name (top left). Make sure your devices have Wi-Fi turned on and that they are connected to the same network. If Do Not Disturb is turned on, try turning it off. Make sure your iPhone, iPad and Mac are updated to the latest versions of their respective operating systems. Make sure FaceTime notifications are turned on on iPad and Mac. For tablet, open Settings, tap FaceTime » Notifications or, if you prefer, this can also be done by going to Settings » Notifications » FaceTime; on Mac, open System Settings and click Notifications » FaceTime.
