What Warren Buffett bought

The star investor mainly holds Apple and bank shares. He has recently stocked up on oil companies, a hardware company and a games company.

As stock markets tumbled over the past two quarters, Warren Buffett’s investment firm has Berkshire Hathaway, as reported, again stocked with shares. But what did Buffett buy? And what do analysts think of it?

Among other things, the 91-year-old bought his shares in the oil company in the second quarter Occidental Petroleum and the hardware manufacturer HP Inc further increased. The printer and computer manufacturer was able to increase sales slightly in the past quarter thanks to good corporate customer demand, but private demand has recently slacked off somewhat, which is probably due to the economy. The stock fell somewhat in May and June. In the short term, analysts only see a small upside potential of five percent Bloomberg-Show data. But Buffett is thinking long-term anyway.
