What’s going on on the highway in Froyennes? A large police force was deployed this afternoon!

Many people on social networks reported having been overtaken in the early afternoon by a gray vehicle driving at high speed on the A8 / E42 motorway towards Tournai.

The vehicle in question was, for a still unknown reason, pursued by numerous law enforcement vehicles.

The latter managed to intercept and stop the driver at the exit of Froyennes. Major means have thus been deployed in order to control the driver.

Contacted, the police did not wish to comment on the reasons for this intervention for the moment.
